Expanding Glycation-Combatting Portfolio with Multi-Corrective Eye Cream
Reformulation and relaunch of A.G.E. Eye Complex to A.G.E. Advanced Eye. This product is a next-generation eye cream for wrinkles that fights the appearance of crow’s feet, puffiness, and dark circles associated with glycation and collagen decline.

A Powerhouse Antioxidant Serum for Oily Skin
Silymarin CF launches as an oil-free vitamin C serum formulated for oily and blemish-prone skin. This breakthrough formula combines 0.5% silymarin (milk thistle extract), 15% l-ascorbic acid, 0.5% ferulic acid and 0.5% salicylic acid to help prevent oil oxidation that can lead to breakouts, and visible signs of aging.
US Patent created for Silymarin CF - Serums for reducing lipid peroxidation.
2018
Introduction of Tranexamic Acid
The launch of Discoloration Defense serum: a new and innovative solution for skin discoloration, a top concern addressed by professional procedures. This serum features a breakthrough formula with 3% tranexamic acid, 1% kojic acid, 5% niacinamide, and 5% HEPES, to utilize a multi-phase approach to improve dark spots and the appearance of skin discoloration, brighten skin, and even skin tone in as early as 2 weeks.

Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2 – a unique anti-aging lipid replenishment cream to address the specific challenges of accelerated aging and skin barrier repair. Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2 is the first and only cosmeceutical product to combine a proprietary ratio of lipids in a maximized concentration of 2% ceramides, 4% cholesterol and 2% omega-fatty acids, which play key roles in the repair of both aged and dry skin. A New Age in Sun Protection
SkinCeuticals introduces the first 100% physical sunscreen, Physical UV Defense SPF 30. This scientific breakthrough features a never-before-seen elegant texture and establishes the foundation for the SkinCeuticals philosophy.

The Proof Behind the Patent
Dr. Pinnell’s landmark study about the parameters necessary for formulating a stable and effective vitamin C serum is published in The Journal of Dermatologic Surgery.
This outlines that a stable and effective vitamin C should contain:
- Pure Vitamin C
- Formulated between 10 to 20%
- At an acidic pH to maximize efficacy

The SkinCeuticals line grows with the launch of Phyto+ for discoloration.
